Power Contracting Equipment

Better Tools for a Better Final Product

At Power Contracting Company we use a wide variety of equipment to ensure that our projects get done in a timely manner and get completed the right way. Take a look at some of the equipment we use below.

PCC owns and operates two types of rubber tire mounted drilling equipment.

For smaller caissons with difficult access we will deploy one of two digger derrick trucks from our fleet.  These machines are capable of drilling holes up to 42-inches in diameter and to a depth of 10-feet.

On projects requiring larger and deeper caissons, one of our three high-pressure drill rigs capable of depths from 22-feet to over52-feet and diameters ranging from 24-inches up to 72-inches will be used.

PCC has a small fleet of bucket trucks available.  Their reaches range from 45 to 75 feet.

These trucks are capable of handling both manpower and material, keeping installation time to a minimum.

Our trucks allow us to set poles from the ground; and without moving the truck, get in the air to make adjustments efficiently.  This capability expedites installation and project completion.

When it comes to long runs of conduit, a trencher is one of the best pieces of equipment available.  PCC owns two.

Our track mounted Vermeer chain trencher makes short work of most material.  When the tracks are an issue because of surrounding asphalt or concrete, we can send our rubber tire mounted machine to the jobsite.

Power has several different type of equipment for digging including:
  • (3) three 8000# mini excavators
  • (4) Case 580 backhoes
  • (1) 30,000# excavator
This equipment allows us to dig to depths of 7-12 feet when needed.
Our fusion splice machine is capable of splicing most fiber associated with camera systems, DMS signage and traffic signal systems.
Safety is our first priority on every job.  Power has two crash trucks equipped with arrow boards and Scorpion attenuators to protect our workers.
